Upgrading to WordPress 2.1 is easy. I upgraded this blog using the upgrade utility of Fantastico, and the upgrade is finished within a matter of seconds. Then I checked my plugins. Only one plugin failed to work, the Linkblock Widget, and luckily, there’s already an update for that plugin for WordPress 2.1. So, I just removed the old plugin and installed the new one. Now, everything is working fine. Cool!

To others who are still hesitant to upgrade because their plugins might not work, here is the list of plugins installed in this blog that works without hiccup when I upgraded.

Update: Oopps, I found out that Add Meta Tag plugin has also some issues. The excerpt is not showing on the description tag on single posts. I already reported it to the plugin author and hopefully, it will be fixed as soon as possible.

I’m not going home to Batangas this weekend. Dito na lang muna ako sa Makati. Reason? May Blog Parteeh eh, kung uuwi ako, para lang akong nag-aksaya ng pera. Uuwi ng Saturday night, babalik ng Monday morning? No way. Dito na lang ako sa Manila. Tiba tiba na naman yung WashupDoc, ang laundry shop na pinagpapalabhan ko ng aking mga damit kapag hindi ako umuuwi. Kasi naman, minimum of 3 kilos sila, eh, hindi naman umaabot sa 3 kilo yung mga damit ko, mga 1 kilo lang, pero ang bayad ko, pang 3 kilos. Sabi ko nga, dapat, maglaba sila ng dalawang kilong hangin, dahil nagbayad ako ng extrang dalawang kilo. Hehehe. Anyway, ok lang, kesa naman sa ako ang maglalaba.

Sure na! I’m invited at the biggest gathering of active bloggers in the Philippines, the Blogparteeh! I already received my E-ticket this morning. As a proof, andito ako sa kanilang listahan.

When you sign-up on Adwords, you will automatically be enrolled on their Starter Edition. You have the option to stay on the Starter Edition or to upgrade on the Standard Edition. Starter Edition doesn’t give you full control, it has limited features that I suggest you immediately upgrade to Standard Edition after signing up.
