Yan lang ang masasabi ko after clearing my cheques instantly on their Megamall branch. Ganito kasi ang nangyari, we received 3 BDO cheques as a prize on the Ituloy Angsulong contest. Tatlong cheke yun, and early Saturday morning, andun na kami sa Banco De Oro Megamall to deposit the cheque to my bank account. Nagulat na lang ako na after depositing the cheque, paglabas ko, I went to the ATM to withdraw some money and found out that the current balance = available balance na! Di ba, usually, 2 days clearing pa? Or kung one day clearing, sa hapon pa. Pero ang nangyari, the instant na idineposit ko, paglabas ko, available na kaagad yung pera! Hayun, kaya tuwang tuwa kami at napaghati-hatian na namin kaagad yung pera. Hehehe.
Magkano ba napanalunan namin? #1 kami sa MSN, # 4 sa Google at 2nd sa cummulative ranking. Go figure!
Saan napunta ang pera ko? Ipang-oopen ko ng dollar account sa BDO dahil kailangan ko nang mag-encash ng mga dollar cheques ko from TLA. Yung tira, ipangliliwaliw. Hehehe.

Interesting… Could it be because BDO Megamall branch din yung originating branch nung cheques? Most of the banks here kasi, pag dineposit mo cheque sa account mo na nasa same branch na nakalagay dun sa cheque mismo, it’s considered as an ON-US cheque. ON-US cheques are automatically considered as “good as cash”, since the teller automatically cleared the cheque, instead of being routed to the Clearinghouse. =)

I totally agree! Feeling ko nga malapit na ako maging premium user ng BDO, I’m enrolled in 4 of their products. Kulang na lang credit card at dollar account…pero malapit na napapaisip na rin ako! hehe
