While riding a taxi with my girlfriend, the driver started telling stories about his family. He said that he have 5 children, two of whom are already in the United States. His wife is already in the US too. However, he said that he preferred living here in the Philippines because he wants to watch over his other children, who are still studying. The story goes on and on until we finally reached our destination. The taxi meter marked 130 pesos. I paid him 150 pesos and he gave me 20 pesos as a change.

Then, later, my girlfriend said, “Buti na lang, hindi magulang yung taxi driver.” She said this because some of the taxi drivers don’t give change. I replied, “Magulang sya. Hindi mo ba narinig? May mga anak sya. So, magulang sya.”

Wala lang, namilosopo lang. Parang mas maganda yata kung tagalog na lang ang post na ito? Hehehe.
