Blogger started forcing everyone to upgrade eversince they removed the New Blogger out of Beta. However, after upgrading, almost everyone I know remained on the Classic Template, or reverted back to Classic Template after seeing that the New Blogger is not that easy as what it seems to be. For people like me who liked playing with the code, it’s a bad news. Why? The old tags on the classic template don’t work anymore. There is a new set of code syntax and tags that I have to learn in order for me to do what I want to do.
The New Blogger, just like the old one, is not search engine optimized. And tweaking it to become search engine friendly is not as easy as the old Blogger. I have written numerous blog posts on my blogtimizer blog on optimizing Blogger but unfortunately, those tricks don’t work for the New Blogger. That’s why I remained using the Classic Template for the past few months.
But now, I am starting to move my Blogger blogs out of the Classic Template. I finally figured out how to wrap the post to the ads. I already found out how to tweak the title tag and meta tags on the New Blogger. And I already found a cool website that creates cool template for the New Blogger. I already applied all of these on my blogtimizer blog and I’ll post all the how-to’s to do all these things next week.
So how’s that for a teaser?
