I was trying to contact HSBC’s hotline number 8787878 this morning but all I got was a busy tone. It took me more than 15 minutes before I finally got connected. Then, a prerecorded voice message answered me saying (not the exact words though), “Starting April 1, the new HSBC’s credit card hotline number is 85-800. If you are calling from outside Metro Manila, use 2 as the area code.”
So that’s it. If you want to contact them regarding your credit card, don’t dial 8787878. Dial 85-800.
