A lot of blogs were affected by the current PageRank update. Fortunately, none of my blogs got a downgrade. They all remain the same. Now, let me answer some of the questions being asked by some people to me, as if I’m an expert on this. Hehehe. Ok, these are just my opinion and might be wrong. Just share your thoughts on the comment section.
I don’t sell links, why does my PageRank drop?
Some people were complaining, they don’t sell links but their PageRank also dropped. Well, the only explanation I can see here is that if majority of the blogs linking to your site got a PR downgrade, then, your PR will be downgraded as well. Yes, you’re not selling links, but blogs that links to your site sell links and got the PR slap, so, you’ll be affected. As we all know, PageRank is the summation of your share on the PageRank of sites linking to your site. If they got slapped, your share from their PR juice got slapped too, hence, the downgrade.
Why is this blog still on PR4? You sell links, right?
I think, this blog is not affected because most of my incoming links doesn’t got a PR downgrade and even if I’m selling link, no one buys. LOL!
My PageRank dropped, what now?
Unless you’re selling links which can dramatically affects you link’s price, I think, there’s nothing to worry about. Your PageRank may be down, but as what Aaron Wall has observed, the SERP’s ranking hasn’t changed at all, so, the traffic is still there.

My daughter’s site has TLA too but her site retains a PR 5. I have 2 other blogs that retained their PR 4. I don’t see any pattern at all. The lone site I have which has a PR 6 links heavily to my blogs but has no TLA. This is the newest PR 6 I have . The two PR 6 site which went down to PR 4 have been there since 2003 but have TLA
