I just like to share my statistics for my mini SEO contest. If you are checking the SERPs, you’ll see that as of this moment, my Pinay Scandal post ranks #1 on MSN.com, #2 on Yahoo.com and #8 on Google.com. You’ll also see that some participants are ranking well, either on the first page or on the second page. I’m sure they are getting some traffic just like what I’m getting. So, how much traffic am I getting right now?
You can download my Google Analytics detailed keyword report for my Pinay Scandal post here. From there, you’ll see that I am now having an additional 100 pageviews from that blog post per day. And you’ll also see that it also ranks higher on other keywords such as pinay scandals and pinoy scandal. As you know, this traffic is not seasonal, someone somewhere is searching for this keyword all year round, so, that’s additional 36, 500 visitors for me in one year, if I’m not kicked out on the first page.
Hmm, I’m thinking of launching another mini-SEO contest for another keyword. Of course, another high-traffic keyword all-year round that is also easy to optimize. I already found some candidate on my keyword research, and it’s good if we’ll help each other for a particular keyword so as to increase the chance of getting to the first page, right? I’ve been doing this alone for quite some time since I started this blog. You know, hijacking some profitable keywords, hehehe. (I don’t know the right term, I think, hijacking is appropriate.) And where am I now? Just averaging 1000 unique visitors per day. Because I hijack keywords almost every month. LOL! Now, why not share the idea and let’s all earn more traffic and Google Adsense earnings? Anyway, there are 10 sites listed on the first page, it will not hurt me a lot if 10 of us is on the first page, as long as I’m in it.
How about having a monthly mini-SEO contest? We’ll target a certain profitable keyword monthly? Tell me what you think. Anyway, I’ll just continue what I’m doing if you’re not interested. Hehehe.
Now you know why the sub-title of this blog is make money blogging about anything interesting. Those keywords are indeed interesting and do really make money for me. Hehehe.

I think such is a great idea and may attract sponsors too. Siguro pro-active din ang keywords para pang build up na rin like perhaps Christmas theme this November to build up for December holidays, among others.
