I have a blog that I haven’t updated for 3 weeks now, and traffic is still the same. It even gets bigger today because of Thanksgiving day. Here’s my suggestion: Do some deep linking to get your blog post rank high even without doing regular updates. Get links not only to your main page but also to your permalink pages. I’ve been doing this and my blog posts buried in the archives are still sending me lots of traffic everyday.
