After reading Alan Ocab’s post on his son’s blog, I told myself, let me see if what he said is true. So, I looked for a simple Wordpress theme, customized it and enabled it on this blog. I just planned to test the new layout and see if there will be an increase on my earnings.
Guess what? After 2 days that the new Wordpress theme is enabled, the CTR doubled! Yup. And this blog’s CTR is now higher than that of my text messages blog.
So, will I revert back to the previous layout? Nope. Maybe, I’ll just get a better-looking 2 column theme. Yeah, I want more money. 
Anyway, my regular readers are either reading this blog on their RSS feeds or on their e-mail, they’ll hardly see the difference.
By the way, I’m in Hong Kong now. I’ll stay here for 2 weeks. Anyone from Hong Kong wanting to treat me to lunch? 
‘Nuff said.

if the ctr doubles with the new layout.. i might as well change my blog’s look (again)!

I knew something was fishy! Haha. Nagulat ako with the new design. And personally, I like the old one better. But knowing that you CTR has increased dramatically, I don’t find any reasons to revert back to the old one. Hehe.

I also read the post of carl, tama sya about adsense placement pero ayaw ko naman ipag sapalaran yung design. sabi nga ng ibamas pangit na website mas malaki kita ?

This is a great example of “always be testing”. Without testing or trying this new layout you would never have known that you could get better CTR. I am glad it worked out so well for you, now don’t stop you never know what small change could double it again!
