Every year, a lot of bloggers noticed a drop of traffic on their blogs during the holiday season. The most valid reason for this is because most people stayed offline to celebrate Christmas or New Year. But do you know that for me, the holiday season is the season I’m waiting for because those are the times that visitors double or triple on my blog? How come?
Again, it’s all about the keywords. Make a blog post for the popular keywords during holiday season and optimize it. Last Thanksgiving Day on the US, some people noticed a drop on their visitors, on the other hand, my visitors on my text messages blog tripled. Simply because I optimized it for the thanksgiving text messages keyword. Yeah, it’s a given fact that less people go online. But if they go online, they want to search for something. So, get hold of them. Optimize as early as today and see your traffic goes up on Christmas and New Year.
