A fellow blogger, Caryl, was banned from Adsense a week ago. She was very disappointed with what happened. She swear she never clicked her own ads. I believe her because I had a chat with her before and I also told her not to ever click her own ads.
Fortunately, after writing an appeal to Google and explaining her side, Google reinstated her account. She blogged about her experience about it. Read it to learn from her experience.
I think, the key here is to follow the TOS strictly. Google Adsense might disable your account for some reasons but if you are really not doing anything wrong, sending an appeal and explaining your side will help getting your account back. Of course, if you indeed clicked your own ads and tried to cheat Google, your appeal will be useless.
I suggest using ClickAider to fully track the click activities on your Adsense ads. It might help supporting your appeal just in case you’ve been into such situation. Of course, we all hope we’ll not be using it at all.

It is really scary to be banned from adsense esp. form invalid clicks…, In my case i disable first all the ads when iam doing some updates to my site to make sure that there will be no unintentional clicking on the ads… Mas maganda na ung maingat…

I got banned from adsense.
They denied my appeal and there goes my $250.
But they said that I can still put other publisher’s account on my website.
Iba daw yung banned publisher account from banned website.
Kaya eto, back to zero.

Good post Marhgil, medyo mahirap i type ang name mo dre, he he. Biktima rin ako ng invalid click activity. I was making around $150.00+ when i got booted off. I traced the activity and found out it from Pinas from smart broadband user BUT big “G” didn’t reinstate my account.
You are right @tapsiboy, it is not the website who is banned but the individual. I may run Adsense again in http://www.ebenta.com hopefully by next month if my friend is accepted.
Anyone who want to joint venture? Email me. I am from Los Angeles, USA.

Whoa! That’s great! It’s good that the account was reinstated by Google. A lot of publishers don’t get such luck on that.

Yeah you have to be really careful with Adsense and make sure to read and understand the TOS, before using it. If you get to a point where you are finally making money online and then were to get banned, you can only imagine how bad that would be, so if anything make sure to error on your side rather than Google’s.

I am just wondering, if you generating huge amount of traffic from craigslist, can you get banned? Google really needs some human service, a lot of innocent people are now guilty…
