I just like to share with you the product of my SEO effort for the Pacquiao vs. Marquez fight and the Big Show vs. Mayweather fight. I optimized for the Pacquiao Marquez fight one week before their fight and 2 weeks before the Big Show vs. Mayweather fight.Click the image for a larger view.
Boxing vs. Wrestling Traffic
What can I conclude from this? Wrestling and boxing are good niches. If you are a WWE fan, having a WWE blog will be a good idea. If you are a boxing fan, starting a boxing blog is also a good idea.
As for me, I’ll just blog about them from time to time on this blog when there’s an upcoming fight worth blogging. I’ll also try hijacking some boxing and wrestling related keywords that are searched whole year round.

I agree, I am trying these keywords in my sports blog for the upcoming fights.
For boxing:
Battle of the Planet: Bernard Hopkins vs Joe Calzaghe results
Homecoming: Oscar de la Hoya vs Steve Forbes results
For MMA:
UFC 83: GSP vs Matt Serra Rematch Results
Kita kita na lang sa first page ng google.
