Since a lot of you are asking this, so here’s how. Download the original Hangaroo. Download the Pinoy Hangaroo Phrase File. Load the Phrase File on the Hangaroo game. Enjoy! Easy, right? Ok, here’s the detailed instruction:
1. Download the original Hangaroo. You can download it here. After downloading it, install it on your PC. Just click Agree if it asks you to agree, and click Next every time you see one. Hehe.
2. Download the Pinoy Hangaroo Phrase File. You can download it by right clicking this and saving it on your computer. Save it anywhere you want.
3. Load the Phrase File in your game. You can do this by clicking Menu on the upper right hand corner of the game. Then, click Load Phrase File… Select the Pinoy Hangaroo Phrase File that you’ve downloaded on your computer. Click Ok and you are all set.
4. Enjoy! I don’t need to elaborate on this. Hehe.

I work in Activities at a Nursing Home with seniors. Our residents enjoy this game but most of the default phrases are not relevant to them and therefore more difficult to solve. I have created an extensive custom file but for some reason it only recognizes and loads the first category. When I run the check phrase file it says no errors found one category with 23 phrases and that first category also has a good bit more than 23 phrases. I don’t understand what I am doing wrong as everything appears to be correct.
If someone could please help I would be much appreciative.
