Google Adsense will include interest-based ads on April 9, and because of this, publishers must include it on their privacy policy on or before April 8.
According to Google, here are the information that must be added in your privacy policy:
- Google, as a third party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on your site.
- Google’s use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to your users based on their visit to your sites and other sites on the Internet.
- Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy.
Here are some suggestions of the lines you could add to comply with this requirement.
Sample 1
Our site and third parties such as advertisers may add a cookie to help analyze web traffic or to determine targeted advertisements based on your preferences and your visit to our site and other sites on the internet.
You can choose to accept or decline cookies. To opt out of Google’s use of cookies, please visit the Google ad and content network privacy policy.
Sample 2
Third parties such as our advertisers may also use cookies to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and other sites on the internet. If you want to opt out of our third-party advertiser (Google Adsense)’s use of cookies, please visit the Google ad and content network privacy policy.
Sample 3
Third parties such as our advertisers may also place cookies on your browser in the course of serving ads to you based on your visit to our site and other sites on the internet. If you want to opt out of our third-party advertiser (Google Adsense)’s use of cookies, please visit the Google ad and content network privacy policy.

I copied mine from PinoyMoneyTalk’s privacy policy which states that:
Google, one of our third-party advertisers, may add a cookie to determine targeted advertisements based on your preferences and your visit to our site and other sites on the internet. You can choose to opt out of Google’s use of cookies by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy.

@Dinah, a Privacy Policy is different from a Disclosure Policy. A Privacy Policy explains how you use the information provided to you by your users and how you ensure the privacy of their information. A Disclosure Policy explains your affiliations and whether your sponsors or advertisers affect the objectivity of your posts.

@pinoy love – there are instances that you’ll be banned. We all need to update our privacy policy. wah! Lalo na yung main site na ginamit mo to apply for Adsense. Because I think yun yung unang e checheck. Hehe
