For the past few months, me and my wife are thinking of getting a landline eventhough we both have our own cellphone. Well, calling the office, calling Pizzahut or 8-MCDO is cheaper if we have a landline. Calling government offices such as NSO and DFA is cheaper on the landline. So, when we saw Bayan Wireless Landline in Waltermart Makati last Sunday, we inquired and grabbed a postpaid plan immediately.
We availed of their Basic Wireless 499 plan. For only Php 499 per month, we got unlimited talk time within Metro Manila numbers, unlimited text to Bayan Wireless Landline nationwide and access to NDD/IDD calls. Actually, all we want is that unlimited calls within Metro Manila numbers. We don’t have other people to text to on Bayan Wireless Landline and we don’t have plans of using it on NDD/IDD calls.
They have a one-year lock-in period and you’ll have to purchase their phone units which costs Php 1399 only for the Huawei C228S and ZTE X195 unit.
Voice quality? So far, so good. They don’t cut your calls, even if you are making telebabad unlike those unlimited offers from other networks.
