Rotating Brownouts

When I was a kid, I didn’t know about rotating brownouts. All I know is brownout and blackout. When there’s power interruption, that is brownout. When power interruption covers a wide area such as the whole Luzon or the whole Philippines, it’s called blackout. Now, there’s a new term in town. Rotating brownouts.

So, what is rotating brownout? A power interruption that is evenly distributed to all the subscribers in a rotating schedule. That is to balance the load on all subscribers due to insufficiency of power supply.

I just have one request. Please, rotate the schedule for each zone too. Don’t let us have a brownout schedule on only one time frame of 12:00PM to 2:00PM. Give that schedule to other zone too. Ok? Di kasi makapanood ng Wowowee. Hehe.

I saw those solar panels in TV Patrol today. I’m just curious. Where can I buy one?
