Google Adsense and Western Union Payment ID Problem

Ang sitwasyon. Nung mag-open ng Google Adsense account yung misis ko, dalaga pa sya. Natural, ang apelyido nyang ginamit, yung apelyido nya nung dalaga pa sya, which is Mojana. At ang ginagamit nyang ID kapag kumukuha sya ng pera sa Western Union, yung ID nya sa former employer nya nung dalaga pa sya, para match.

Ang problema, ayaw na tanggapin nung WU yung lumang ID ng misis ko, kasi luma na nga daw at hindi na sya employed dun. Eh ang available ID’s nya ngayon, Macuha na ang apelyido. Sabi ng WU, ipaupdate daw namin ang Payee name sa Google Adsense para Macuha na rin ang gamitin nyang apelyido pag nagpadala sila ng pera. Tama naman, di ba?

Kaso, pagcheck namin sa Google Adsense, ito ang sabi:

  • If you require a payee name change and you’re located in one of these countries, you have to close your account and submit a new application with your desired payee name. Please follow the steps below.
  • Complete the cancellation form.
  • We’ll close your current account.
  • When you receive notification that your account has been closed, submit a new application using your new payee name.
  • Once your application is approved, replace the existing AdSense code on your pages with code generated from your new account.

Hindi ganun kasimple magchange ng Payee name. Kailangan icancel ang Adsense account at mag-apply ng bago. Huh? Hassle naman. Madaling magcancel. Pero mag-apply ng bagong account, medyo hassle. Ang tagal kaya mag-apply ng bagong Adsense account, masyado sila mahigpit.

Ang naisip kong solusyon. Kumuha na lang tayo ng bagong ID with your maiden name. Anong ID? Passport. Pwede naman daw kasi magkaroon ng passport using your maiden name kahit may-asawa na. Ito ang sabi ni kumpanyerong Google search: Basahin nyo na lang dito.

Since never pa naman nagkaroon ng passport si misis, maiden name na lang gagamitin nya sa passport nya. Suportado naman pala yan ng batas. Para wala ng hassle sa pagcancel ng account sa Adsense. Magkakaroon pa ng bagong passport si misis. Match ulit kay Google Adsense. Tapos ang problema. We’ll just bring our marriage contract everytime na magtatravel kami para maipakita sa mga nagdududa kung misis ko sya. Hehe.
