It was a success, with lots of bloggers joining the campaign blogging about it. Some people are even messaging me up to these days if they can join it.

Today, however, after more than 3 years, I was informed by a friend who joined the campaign that his Google Adsense account was disabled (not banned). Google contacted him and told him that the reason is his p!nay $candal post. This happened 2 weeks ago, he already deleted the post and made an appeal, but up to now, Google has not replied to him yet, and his Adsense is still disabled on his particular site, but it still works on his other sites.

It seems like Google Adsense is becoming stricter with their policy. Although we don’t promote adult-content, getting flagged, having your Adsense disabled and appealing is not a good experience. According to some forums, an appeal can take days, weeks or even months before Google respond.

So, although I started it, I’m recommending everyone who joined the campaign who has an Adsense ad on it to delete the post so as to avoid getting your ads disabled and go thru all the hassles of appealing.

I guess, this is the end of this campaign. Thanks for all the support and I’m sorry to anyone who joined the campaign for any trouble that it might have caused you.

Please spread the word and inform those people who joined the campaign. Thanks.
If you like this post, <a

That means that for every $100 worth of clicks on your Adsense ads paid by the advertisers, you get $68 and Google gets the $32. If readers used the Google search box in your site, you’ll get 51% of the money for the clicks. Not bad, I think.

That’s all for now.
If you like this post, <a

Down payment came from the money I saved while I was in Kuwait. My father agreed to help me on my monthly payment, he sent me Php 5000 every month while the remaining Php 10000+ was shouldered by my salary. My father was an OFW back then, so, we had no problems on the monthly payments.

However, due to his health conditions, my father lost his job and went home. I was then faced with a problem of how I could continue paying the car because all I could afford was Php 10000 monthly. Where should I get that extra Php 5000?

On the first few months, I was able to get P5000 from my savings. But it was not enough. It could only help me pay for the next 6 months, after that, I would be in real trouble.

I had the Adsense code for 1 year on my first blog on which I didn’t mind whether I earned or not. This situation changed that. I should make money online, or my car will be gone in 6 months. My main goal back then was to earn at least $100/month after six months on Google Adsense, (Forex back then was $1=Php 55) to solve my problem.

To make the long story short, I was able to achieve my goal, getting my first Google check after 4 months of optimization. You can check my Google Adsense story here. Fast forward today, I don’t even have to touch my salary to pay for my car loan. Yesterday, I deposited my last monthly payment for it. All is paid up now. This car is officially, 100% mine now.

Yeah, I did not try making money online just for the heck of it. I was trying to save my car. I could have just give up back then, let the bank take the car and continue my life. But I just don’t give up without a fight.

Just a thought. If I have not been into that situation, where am I right now? I might still be blogging today on my blogspot blog. The Adsense code will still be there with occasional clicks. Still waiting for my first $100 check to come.

If you like this post, <a

Because you don’t see results immediately. You do some on-page optimization. You do keyword research. You make a well-written blog post for the keyword. You do off-page optimization: directory submission, exchanging links with other bloggers, social bookmarking, article submission, etc. You did all of these, and everytime you check your rankings on your target keywords, you are far-away from the first pages of the SERPs. Your Adsense income is still a 3-digit zeroes, i.e., $0.00.

How do you deal with this? Simple. Accept it. Everyone starting from scratch undergoes that phase. Don’t quit. Just continue what you are doing. You are on a trial stage. You are being tested. If you quit, then you lose. If you continue, you’ll see the fruits of your labor in the years to come.

Continue SEOing. Continue writing quality content. Continue the link baiting. Continue the keyword hijacking, especially of those HITLOD keywords. As months pass by, you will see them hitting the first page of the SERPs. One by one. Slowly but surely. Clicks will start coming. That 3-digit zeroes will become cents. Cents will turn into dollars. Dollars into a hundred dollars. And then a thousand dollars. And more if you don’t quit.

Yes. visitors will come. And you will make money. That’s what happened to me. And it will happen to you too! Coz I am nothing more special than you.

This post is for every beginner out there who were inspired by this blog, started their own blog, and are now undergoing the hardship of the initial stages, seeing the three-digit zeroes despite all the things they are doing. Don’t ever quit people! Coz quitters don’t succeed. Keep on blogging!

If you like this post, Silkenhut, he noticed that not all languages there are supported by Google Adsense, so I have to disable some of the languages that are not supported to comply with the Adsense TOS.

Silkenhut listed the languages that are supported by Google Adsense on his post. To make your life easier, I will do the opposite. I am listing here now the languages NOT supported by Google Adsense that you have to disable on the Global Translator Plugin to make your Google Adsense in full compliance with their TOS. Just uncheck them on the list.

Here they are:

Hindi

Romanian

Catalan

Filipino

Indonesian

Latvian

Lithuanian

Slovenian

Ukrainian

Vietnamese

After disabling these languages, the translated pages will now show a 404 page. Google bot will notice that and will remove them on the Google cache. However, to make sure that Google bot doesn’t visit them anymore and reindex them, I’ve added the following lines on my robots.txt file:

User-agent: Googlebot
Disallow: /hi/
Disallow: /ro/
Disallow: /ca/
Disallow: /tl/
Disallow: /id/
Disallow: /lv/
Disallow: /lt/
Disallow: /sl/
Disallow: /uk/
Disallow: /vi/

If you installed the Global Translator Plugin and you have Google Adsense at the same time, I highly recommend that you do the same.

That’s all folks!
If you like this post, recently announced that Google Adsense will be finally integrated to Google Analytics. They are gradually rolling it out to publishers. They say that we’ll see an invitation link on our Adsense accounts once this feature is already enabled for us. I checked my Google Adsense account today and I did not see the invitation link yet. Hoping to see it sooner. <img

These data could give us a hint on which pages are giving us more money so that we can focus more on those topics.

If you like this post, However, when we saw this cute puppy, we wanted to buy it immediately. Instead of waiting for my Adsense payment, we ended up buying the puppy. Anyway, my July Adsense payment is still intact. Of course, this dog is not that expensive, it just costed us around 5% of my July Adsense earnings. <img
