These Wordpress plugins are useless in my opinion. They might be useful to you, but they do more harm than good to me, that’s why I’m not using them. Harm? They give my server extra thing to do which will not help me anyway. I’m not linking to them because I don’t want to.

I installed the feed footer plugin on this blog so that I can give the download link of the free SEO e-book to my subscribers easily.

Yeah, I admit, this blog’s theme is ugly. I am actually considering to get someone design a unique Wordpress theme for me, I just don’t have the budget yet since my earnings are already budgeted to something bigger this year. I can still live with this ugly theme for another one year.

I admit, I’m not good in designing Wordpress theme. Most of the time, I use free Wordpress theme from themes.wordpress.net. When selecting Wordpress theme, I follow the following guidelines I made up for myself:

This blog’s bounce rate is high. Which means that most visitors simply bounce on this blog. They come and go, and never come back. They either find this blog boring with nothing much to read that they simply go or they find an interesting ad, click on it and forget this blog.

Yes, finally, I was able to upgrade this blog to Wordpress 2.3.1. It took me more than an hour to finish everything. Reinstalled some new plugin versions and accepted the fact that linkblock widget doesn’t work anymore. I can’t find one that could replace it.

I’ve been doing this already on this blog. Everytime I encountered an error on any software application that took me more time to fix, I always blog about it. Why? What’s the use?

Well, I really don’t know. But still, I joined the bandwagon and created a unique favicon for this blog using a picture of myself. I see that some famous bloggers use their face as a favicon, so I decided to copy what they’ve done.

After one and a half month of releasing my first wordpress theme, it is downloaded 750+ times now. I am seeing some blogs using that theme now. Thanks to all who uses it and kept the credit link to my blog. Go on, modify it, tweak it the way you want it.

I upgraded this blog to Wordpress 2.2.1. After upgrading, the sidebar was broken.
