Earn Additional Income From Adbrite

I’ve been running Adbrite ads on my text messages blog for more than a year now. I just put the ad code there, checked the earnings from time to time on the first few months, and after seeing that it’s not giving me much money, I just forgot about it. But I did not remove the ad code.

Last Friday, my mind told me to sign-in to Adbrite to see my earnings. Was there any improvement? Well, nothing’s changed. I’m still earning $2 per month on them! Which means that my first payout of $50 will be delivered after 25 months, or more than 2 years. Hehehe. I already passed more than a year, so, I still have another year to get my first check. Too long. Too bad.

However, I noticed that they have new offerings now. Well, I just got interested on their banner ads and the promise of $0.05 CPM ads. To the clueless, CPM ads are cost-per-milli ads, or cost per a thousand impression ads. They have CPM ads that pay for impressions, not for clicks. Hmm. I don’t get much clicks on their ads because they are not targeted very well. Now, with their CPM ads, I saw an opportunity.

I quickly created an ad code with CPM ads and installed it on this blog to see what will happen. After 3 days, I was quite impressed. It seems that my remaining 12 months to get their first pay check will be reduced dramatically! I earned 30 cents in one day! Without clicks! Yeah, zero clicks, just ad impressions. And take note, that $0.05 CPM rate is just the minimum, my ads give me CPM that are actually higher than that. If the current rate doesn’t change with the same blog traffic, for 30 days, that’s $9! Far better than my $2 per month. Hehe.

Seeing the opportunity, I converted all my Adbrite ads on my text messages blog today. Hopefully, it performs well too, just like what happened to this blog. Let’s just wait and see. For the mean time, why don’t you try it too?
