Content is King But…

A single blog post can bring you hundreds of traffic a day if optimized properly for a competitive keyword. Just look at my pinay $candal blog post. It is giving me at least a hundred unique visitors everyday. Now, think if you have at least 10 blog posts on the first page of Google for different popular keywords? That means a thousand unique hits everyday! You can stop blogging and still see visitors coming in. I don’t usually blog on weekends but my Google Analytics shows that I also have a thousand unique visitors during those days.

Here are some keywords I found that you might want to optimize. My criteria for selecting keyword is simple, searched whole year round with less competition (not more than 10 million). Well, if you’re my regular reader, you already know how I search for these keywords and how I check the search volume (via Google Trends). Ok, now, presenting, the keywords!

1. friendster layouts
2. facebook skin
3. jose rizal
4. edsa
5. birthday e-card
6. hack yahoo password
7. vedio clip
8. vedio clips

Why am I sharing this? Well, so that you’ll know exactly what’s happening on this blog when I post about something that seems out of topic. I’m only optimizing for keywords to gain more traffic and more earnings. And of course, so that you can join me optimize for those keywords. I don’t want to be alone enjoying all those traffic. I’m not selfish. I want you to join me on the first page of the search engine results page. Hehehe.

Again, the key here is to create unique and keyword rich content. And of course, get those links from related blog posts and blogs. And be patient. And wait. And take a bath more often. 🙂 And give me some mocha frap. 🙂

Now, do you think other bloggers will give you these keywords? All I read from them is to create quality content. Content is king blah blah. I’ve seen so many blogs with great content but less traffic. With many regular visitors but no earnings ending up quitting the blogging sideline and trashing Google Adsense.

Remember this: Content is King, but optimizing keywords for search engine is Dos. Don’t you know that we’re playing Pusoy Dos? LOL!

Nuff said.

  1. While it is true that optimizing blog posts to keywords can get you several hundreds of hits, it is my observation that you cannot simply sit and watch as you put it. Even a few days of lapse (not making new blog posts) causes a drastic reduction in the hits. Blogs require regular updates

  2. I totally agree with your posts here! Im in a SEO community too. But regarding with my post at my blog about thinking for the readers, well i mean it for the beginners. Of course, they are newbie and doesn’t know what to do especially on starting a blog. right? Well, basta tayo traffic muna ang target. Happy blgging. CHeers!

  3. @Carpentry Jobs… thanks for giving your 2 cents. I have a blog that I haven’t updated for 3 weeks now, and traffic is still the same. It even gets bigger today because of Thanksgiving day. Here’s my suggestion: Do some deep linking to get your blog post rank high even without doing regular updates. Get links not only to your main page but also to your permalink pages. I’ve been doing this and my blog posts buried in the archives are still sending me lots of traffic everyday.

@Shannon… thanks for dropping by here. yeah, for beginners, focus on content first, to attract regular readers. when you have enough readers, write for search engines every now and then to attract SE traffic 😉

  4. It should be SEO is the King!

  5. Now, I’m learning. hehe… thanks. gotta find more keywords.

  6. I quite like your post. It offers us a different way to obtain the same results in high SEO ranking. I also noticed how you used internal linking very well in optimizing your article. Good job.
