IST19: Restricted Account. Account is Frozen on BDO

Did you log on to your Banco De Oro internet banking today and found out that your account is frozen? I did, and yes, it indeed said Frozen Account. All my accounts were frozen. The exact message was:

IST19: Restricted Account. Account is Frozen.

I immediately called BDO’s phone banking support at 6318000. They told me that there’s nothing to worry about, they are currently updating their system and accounts will be back soon. However, the customer service representative I talked to told me that she cannot confirm the exact time when it will be back online. Hope, that soon is sooner.

Just making a post to tell other BDO customers that you are not alone. All our accounts are frozen as of this moment.

Good thing I have accounts on other banks. 😀

Update: Now, BDO online banking is unreachable giving this reply:

Processing of this request was delegated to a server that is not functioning properly.
