Today is my last day at work. I am going full time on making money online.
No more forcing myself to wake-up early everyday. No more driving on traffic-jammed EDSA everyday. No more hassles arguing with a taxi driver if they don’t want to give me a change. No more deadlines. No more bundy clock.
Yeah. I gave up as an employee. Not because I hate the company or my job but because I want total control of my time. I gave up 25% of my income source to get a complete control of my time, to be free of the 40-hour-work week. Well, I think, that’s a nice trade-in.
Now, I can go anywhere I want and live there. As long as I have internet connection, I can update my blogs and expect money to come every month. Now, I can visit any place around the world without worrying of the tasks I left behind at work. Now, I can attend any blog events without worrying of a work conflict. Now, I can have more time with my family.
Expect this blog to be updated more often, especially starting March. Expect more tips coming along the way as I learn more from my experience. Expect me to try other online endeavors. I’m totally embracing the dot com lifestyle. Wish me luck!

Welcome aboard sir! nagwowonder nga po ako why nagstay pa kayo sa day job while nauna pa kayo magmake money online sakin.
Dot Com Lifestyle is becoming a trend. I’ve been living the this life since April2007 and literally I can kick my previous supervisor’s face! (sorry for the term, panag-initan kase ako sa trabaho dati). Well, I should be thankful instead kundi dahil sa kanya, nasa call center pa rin siguro ako until now.
But because of desperation, nakahanap ako online job and now, I own my time. =) Less expenses for staying in Manila, bawas pamasahe. Homebased, a lot of savings for me and my family.
Again, welcome kahit mas nauna kayo sakin at mas successful. You’re one of my inspirations.

So how’s life out of the office ..
March 2nd, 2010 at 11:50 pm
Wow, 25% lang ang day job mo sa total income. Ang laki talaga ng kinita mo sa Adsense monthly. Kung ang 75% of your income is from Adsense, ganito meron akong kunting calculations, hehehe. Allow me, pampa-inspire lang.
Kung P20,000 ang monthly salary mo, your Adsense is P80,000 monthly. Kung P30,000 a month ang day job mo, P120,000 a month ang Adsense.
Sana maabot ko rin ang level na yon.
March 16th, 2010 at 4:24 pm
Hi Marghil, ngayon ko lang nabasa to.. it’s been a month na pala since last day mo as employee.. musta? Gusto ko rin nyan.. yang mga sinabi ko sa blog post.. pwede ba magpa tulong? Gusto ko kasi mas malaki kita ko online kesa sa payroll ko.. thanks!
Goodluck sayo!
