Makulay Ang Buhay Sa Sinabawang Gulay

Less meat, more fish, no caffeine, no sugar, less salt. That’s my diet guide that I need to follow if I still want to blog for more years. I wonder if I can blog in heaven? Hehehe.

Well seriously, it’s tough. What else can I drink? Water. Softdrinks have sugar. Light softdrinks such as Coke Light or Pepsi Max has caffeine. Fruit juices have sugar. So, what’s my option? Water. and H20.

Less meat. More fish. Fish fillet at Mc Donalds. Bangus at Chowking. Yeah. It’s tough. I think I should join those kids singing “Makulay ang buhay sa sinabawang gulay!” (Translation: Life is colorful on the swimming vegetable. Hehehe. )

I still need to see my doctor on Tuesday for a check-up. Hopefully, she’ll tell me everything is ok now and I can go back to eating what I want. I wish!

And I have a new look. I wear eye glasses now. I look like a geek now. I look like a college professor now. Hehehe. Sorry, no picture. Just meet me if you want to see my new look.

Update: To the uninitiated or clueless, here is the Makulay Ang Buhay video I’m talking about 🙂

  1. The truth is, we all have to watch what we eat. It’s just that we don’t heed the advice until we’re threatened with a health condition. Take consolation in the fact that you’re joining a whole lot of people in that healthier diet. And prevention is always better.

I also put off wearing glasses for a long time, but you’ll get used to them 😎

  2. There’s a funny (sa unang tingin) version of that video.. forgot who’s blog is it, but made me laugh.. 🙂 parang michael V, screen split into 3.. 🙂
