This blog is hosted on Dreamhost. And as a Dreamhoster, one of the things I like from them aside from being a reliable web host is their Rewards program.
For every person I refer to them, I get $97. And from $97, I can take away some amount from it, make a promo code and offer it as discount for a maximum of $50. That’s why I have a MACUHA50 promo code on Dreamhost, in which when people use it, they get $50 discount on their first year and I get $47 (that’s $97-$50) as a referral bonus.
I am currently running an ad campaign on Project Wonderful and directing the visitors to my Dreamhost promo coded post. I just have a daily budget of $0.50 running across all blogs on Project Wonderful with a minimum of 100 pageviews per day on a maximum bid of $0.10 per ad box. So far, after spending $15 in one month, I already got 5 referrals.
Do the math, and you’ll see that by just spending $15, I earned more than enough to pay my web hosting plan on Dreamhost for another year.
This is the first affiliate marketing campaign where I think I’m succeeding. Not that big, but a nice start. ![]()
